We are currently hiring a Security Officer to help ensure the safety and security of our guests, team members, and hotel property. If you are observant, physically fit, and have a strong sense of responsibility, this role offers the perfect opportunity to grow within a world-renowned hotel brand.
As a Security Officer, your main duties will include:
Monitoring and controlling staff and guest entrances
Conducting regular patrols and ensuring all fire safety checks are recorded
Managing and diffusing any undesirable behavior professionally
Investigating incidents including theft, damage, or suspicious activity
Supporting hotel evacuations during emergency situations
Managing the secure transfer of cash and controlling goods pass-out procedures
Monitoring the CCTV system and overseeing contractor access according to policy
Recording all incidents and maintaining the security log book
Coordinating with local law enforcement when necessary
Ensuring all keys and valuable items are tracked and handled responsibly
Reporting hazards or maintenance issues to the supervisor
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum 2 years of experience in a law enforcement or military/security background
Good physical condition and stamina
Knowledge of fire safety, emergency response, and evacuation protocols
Understanding of local laws and hotel security procedures
SIA license or similar certification is required
Excellent observation and problem-solving skills
Calm and composed under pressure
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Discreet and trustworthy with sensitive information
Ability to work independently or as part of a team
Experience in a hospitality or customer service environment
First Aid Certification
Knowledge of P.A.C.E. procedures
Basic IT proficiency
