About the Role

HLB HAMT is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Auditor to join our Audit & Assurance team in Fujairah. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in IFRS, ISA, and international auditing standards, along with hands-on experience in performing audits and financial analysis. Key Responsibilities

• Client Communication: Liaise effectively with clients to collect required information, ensuring minimal disruption to their business operations.

• Audit Planning & Execution: Participate in audit planning meetings, conduct analytical procedures, and carry out audit tasks as directed by supervisors.

• Working Papers & Documentation: Prepare and maintain audit working papers and documentation that comply with firm policies and regulatory requirements.

• Issue Resolution: Report audit-related issues promptly to supervisors and managers, and respond to audit queries efficiently.

• Deadline & Budget Management: Ensure audits are completed within the designated timelines and allocated budget hours.

• Reconciliation & Reporting: Reconcile client records to trial balances and manage all phases of audit engagements including planning, execution, documentation, and report preparation.

Qualifications & Skills

• Professional accounting qualification such as CA, ACCA, or CPA.

• Minimum of 2-3 years of post-qualification experience in a professional accounting or audit firm.

• Strong knowledge of International Standards on Auditing (ISA), International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), and other auditing standards issued by IFAC and IAASB.

• Proficiency in financial reconciliation, audit documentation, and report preparation.

• Ability to analyze financial data, identify risks, and apply critical thinking.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
