💼 Position Overview: Accounts Payable Specialist

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Payable Specialist to join our finance team in Dubai. This role requires accuracy, organization, and strong knowledge of accounting practices. You will handle invoice processing, vendor coordination, data entry, reconciliations, and compliance—all critical for the efficient functioning of our finance operations.

📌 Key Responsibilities

✅ Invoice & Payment Management

Process and verify vendor invoices to ensure accuracy in pricing, quantities, and terms.
Enter invoice data into the accounting system promptly and correctly.
Maintain vendor master records for data integrity and accuracy.

🧾 Vendor Relationship Coordination

Communicate with vendors regarding discrepancies, payment timelines, and clarifications.
Resolve issues related to invoices or payment delays professionally.

🔍 Reconciliations & Documentation

Assist in reconciling accounts payable records and monthly financial closings.
Maintain proper documentation for all AP activities in accordance with company policy.

📊 Compliance & Reporting

Ensure adherence to financial policies and local regulations, including VAT, GST, and TDS where applicable.
Support internal and external audit requirements by providing necessary documentation.

🎓 Requirements & Skills

🎯 Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Commerce, or a related field.

🧠 Experience

2 to 5 years of relevant experience in Accounts Payable or Finance roles.

💡 Technical & Soft Skills

Strong understanding of accounting principles and tax compliance (GST, TDS).
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and accounting software.
Excellent organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
Strong communication in English, both written and verbal.
Ability to analyze problems, recommend solutions, and improve processes.
